Sister Agnes Raphael of the Orphans and Vulnerable Children Care (OVCC) is educating orphans and vulnerable children, caregivers, the village's Government leaders and the other villagers at Damankia village about Child's Rights. On this Lesson, she asked two of the children to come forward so as she can use them as her lesson illustration. She said by pointing to one child as her own child, and the other as an orphan child whom she lives or cares for her. Through the illustration, she pretended treating cruel an orphan child she lives with and  many caregivers were touched and say that their other fellows do treat orphans and vulnerable children unfairly, and this situation has caused other children to run away to the towns and cities and lose their future. Sister Agnes insisted that caregivers shuold treat orphans and vulnerable children equal like the other children with the parents. By doing so, it will encourage the OVC and they feel loved, cared for and become bold to encounter their life in the future. An event also took place at Damankia village on 7th December, 2013. The number of orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) in Tanzania is increasing rapidly due to the increase in HIV/AIDS and its stigmatization.  Most of these children lack essential needs like parental care, food, shelter, clothes and education.  OVCAP's objective is to provide psycho-social support to orphans and vulnerable children found in these marginalized families and communities.

Over 100 OVC's have already been identified by CAFLO. This number is increasing on a daily basis, all of which desperatly require financial support and other resources to enable them to live a healthy life.
