Currently NYP+ is a working in partnership with AMREF-Tanzania on the project on Sexual Reproductive Health Rights for the Young People aged 10 to 24. The project aims at promoting the realization of Sexual Reproductive health rights and access to Sexual Reproductive Health services among 100,000 young people in Iringa and Dar es Salaam. Currently we are in the second year of implementing the project.
In our case we aim to reach at least 3000 young people in Dar es Salaam with a special focus on the SRHR for the Young People living with HIV/AIDS. To achieve this, NYP+ planned a number of activities which are to be implemented in 2012. Such activities are; conducting health talks with Young People Living with HIV/AIDS, door to door campaigns, road shows, edutainment bonanzas and forum discussions in Kinondoni and Ilala.
