KARUDECA MICROFINANCE PROJECT/HISA PROJECT
We are currently running a microfinance project.It has over 30 members with abot 6 million Tanzania shillings.However,members are increasing,we are not in position to fulfill members loan needs.The project is run using members contributions.Not funded to the moment.Arrangements are underway to look for grants to boost this worthwhile project.
COMMUNITY BASED REHABILITATION (CBR)
We are providing CBR services to people with disabilities in Karagwe and Kyerwa by partnering with KCBRP and KESUDE,the project is funded by Liliane Foundation-Nethelands
NYAKAHANGA DDH CLUB FEET CLINIC
We have opened a club feet clinic at Nyakahanga DDH in Karagwe Tanzania.The clinic is run by partnreship with KARUDECA,KADEF,KESUDE,KCBRP and Nyakahanga DDH.The project is funded by Miracle Feet ,a US based organisation.
BUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEUSHIP TRAINING
We are running the business skill training to our members and other Karagwe district residents, to strengthen their business as a way out of poverty.
ALBINO PROJECT
We are providing an awareness to the community to stop albino killings in Tanzania,lake zone in particular.This is done by volunteering by KARUDECA staff members by partnering wil our fellow organisation member of Tanzania Disability Rehabilitation Consortium (TDRC).
MICRO CREDIT SCHEME.
KARUDECA is currentlly running a micro credit scheme for business women in Karagwe Tanzania.The project aims at giving the business women with some skills necessary for business develpment as solution against povety.We also provide them with soft loans to boost their business.The project is funded by Wabia Network,a UK based organisation.

OUR PLANS FOR 2016-2020
A. Developing the Projects in Progress: Where we are
1. Micro credit scheme.
We plan to develop our women micro credit scheme to more villages and wards of the Karagwe district. We are now running this project in Kayanga and Bugene wards. We plan to add more five wards in the five years. The project is funded by Wabia Network, a UK based organization.
2 .Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR)
We are currently running a CBR project in partnership with KCBRP and KESUDE. The project is funded by Liliane Foundation-The Netherlands.
3. Club feet clinic Project.
In partnership with KADEF, KESUDE, KCBRP and NYAKAHANGA DDH, KARUDECA is running club feet clinic at Nyakahanga DDH. We rehabilitate children with club feet by using the Posent method, rehabilitation without surgery. The project is funded by Miracle Feet-USA
4. Microfinance Project/Hisa Project
KARUDECA is running a group of women and men who have decided to join together to boost themselves economically. They assist each other economically using the little resources that they have.

Proposed project: Where we want to go 2016-2020
1. Environmental Conservation
We intend to launch a bee keeping project with our member as a means of environmental conservation and, economic empowerment and employment creation.
2. Health
We plant to provide capacity building to medical officers in public and private health centers to improve their working skills.
We also plan to run a cost sharing rain water harvesting tank construction project for the needy families in Karagwe.
3. Education
We plan to build ten girls dormitories in ten government ward secondary school to rescue young girls from early pregnancy and early marriage.
We plan to begin a computer class to teach ICT to the youths in Karagwe, as a means to development.
We also plan to provide capacity building to our staff for efficiency. We intend to partner with MS-TSDC for this task because the center has a long time experience in providing capacity building.
We also plan to provide education support to the needy children in Karagwe.
We also plan to construct an awareness creation hall for meeting and capacity building our beneficiaries.
We last intend to launch a KARUDECA COMMUNITY RADIO PROJECT. This radio will help in information and knowledge transfer to the rural parts of the Kagera region, Karagwe district in particular. As we all know that information is power, the radio station, will transform lives of the residents of Karagwe.
4. Agriculture
We plan to run an agribusiness project to enable farmers in Karagwe practice commercial agriculture. We want to enable the people of Karagwe have a commercial agriculture and not for consumption as the situation is now.
We also plan to attract strategic investors to Karagwe,so that they can build industries and other projects which will provide employment and market to our agricultural products.
We plan to launch cattle revolving project and training to the beneficiaries on environmentally friendly animal husbandry.
We also plan to expand an agricultural lending system in Karagwe Tanzania.
5. Women empowerment
We plan to launch a women legal aid center to help the marginalized women out of intimidation, oppression and humiliation.
We plan to launch reproductive health campaign to female students in secondary schools in Karagwe so as to fight early pregnancy and truancy as means to women empowerment.
C.PARTNERSHIP
We will strengthen the existing partnership while building new ones. At KARUDECA,we believe, development is a collective endeavor.
We will insist and persuade our fellow local NGO to join networks / consortiums hence learn from each for efficiency.

Due to the lack of jobs for young people, many young people have been coming from rural to urban areas to seek relief of life, as a result many of the girls found them to be victims, by getting pregnant and being unable to afford the cost of living.
So we need to help our young men aged 14-25, in the areas of economic growth through irrigation, Supporting educational for those who want to continue in education, health help all those in need of help.
Anyone with a new innovative idea, with volunteers interested in supporting the activities of the organization is welcome to come with us to bring these activities with his creations. Organizations need to do a joint venture with the CEDO is also always welcome also can send people to volunteer in our organization.
