Ange Aimable Musafiri

President and Legal Representative

Ange Aimable pursued his Bachelor’s Degree in Political and Administrative Sciences in 2006 from NUR ( National University of Rwanda).He is a professional training facilitator and Coach in Marketing, business start ups, ICT, Entrepreneurship skills and community development . He is experienced in working closely with vulnerable communities because He had worked with 2 International non-profit organizations with 4 years of experience in training facilitation, Coaching and Project Management which are the following : As We Forgive Rwanda Initiative whereby He was holding a position of Director of Training Program from January 2010 to September 2011 and recently from October 2011 to August 2013 Digital Opportunity Trust where he was empowering youth and women in livelihoods, ICT and business skills as a Professional Training Facilitator and Coach and covered 4 Centers ( MCR Bugesera , IPRC Kicukiro , Niboye- Kicukiro and Masaka - BIC( Business Incubation Center). He was also an active board member of Pan-african Movement-Rwanda Chapter at the former National University of Rwanda from 2003 to 2005 where he was holding a position of the secretary general , he is well known for his involvement in Walk to Remember; a project of PLP ( Peace and Love Proclaimers) where he used to empower young leaders in peace-building through trainings, mentoring and conferences in Rwanda and Burundi. His passion is to serve the community by empowering the vulnerable people towards a better and sustainable livelihood. He now lives in Kicukiro in Masaka Sector.

 

Brice SHAKIMANA

Secretary General

Brice had completed the advanced level since 2006 at a TTCGacuba II in Rubavu district.He was nominated as professional teacher where he taught for three years. Now ,he has Bachelor’s degree in English in English+Education from KIE. He is a professional teacher and professional facilitator in School management and Leadership where he worked with ADRA Rwanda to train the head teachers Parents Teacher Association (PTA) and School Management Committee ( SMC) of schools sponsored by ADRA Rwanda. He is a National Tutor Trainer of English Curriculum by aid of USAID, EDC, VSO by transforming teacher centered learning into Learner centered of excellence. He is experienced how to deliver customer care because He had worked as a Manager in Rainbow Hotel for two years. He is also known as the one who brought the first National innovation in youth who have the ambition of fight against drugs where he established once the Clubs of Anti-drug abuse with MIGESPOC in 2010.Not only that, he continued to work with Non-government Organization such as International Transparency Rwanda (ITR) with Ombudsman Office where he learnt more about corruption. Apart from that, he also brought the second National innovation known as Anti-corruption Clubs.

 

Fidele NSENGIYAREMYE

Programme Coordinator (Peace-Building)

Fidele Completed high school in 2009 in languages and literature at GS.GAHINI.In 2010 after being trained in work readiness curriculum I became a Facilitator working with local and international NGOs like EDC, AVSI, AERG and ASYV. In 2011 he attended University studies where he is doing Tourism and Hospitality management at Rwanda Tourism University College (RTUC). In 2012 he was elected as Chairman of Conflict resolution Committee in AERG (Organization des Etudiants rescapes du Genocide) at national level. The same year 2012 in October, he was elected as Chairman of Good Governance Club (GGC) at University. In 2013 he was elected as Chairman for the Class leaders college at the University and in the same year Elected as vice chairman for Rwanda Innovators and Creators Company (RICC) a student and alumni based company. In 2013 again voted for Project manager position in LHPC (Live Hot Pizza Cooperative) and Citizen reporter at www.yfcrwanda.com a web hosted by NAR. His inner river to learn left him with capability, maturity, skills, knowledge and wise mind in diverse things reminiscent of leadership personalities; planning ,developing, coordinating, supervising, monitoring, and evaluating, projects and events; proposal writing, editing and analysis; advocating; reporting; communicating by different social media; mentoring; team building and partnering. Due to those experience and network helped him to come up with an idea to join his colleagues and co-founded to an local NGO named Bright Generation Rwanda (BGR) visioning at building an entrepreneurial network of vulnerable Orphans and widows across the country and empowering young graduates with passion and commitment to serve the society.

 

Jean Wilson NDORUHIRWE

Programme Coordinator ( Coaching and Mentoring)

Jean Wilson pursued his Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness from National University of Rwanda in 2012. After his studies in the same year he acted as trainer on Computer Programming for Kids by using Scratch provided by Rwanda Education Board and to develop capacity for Teachers in the use ICT as a tools to enhance quality of education. In 2013, he joined Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT-Rwanda) as a Learning Facilitator whereby he performed the following roles: Facilitator, Coach and Trainer of Reach Up program (ICT, Business, and sustainable livelihood skills) to Community, especially vulnerable groups including youth and women in rural areas. During that career he helped them discovering opportunities around them to generate income employment. Moreover, he was a Consultant at Agribusiness Development Initiative Limited and performed the following tasks: Advice, business planning and assist cooperatives, farmers and entrepreneurs engaged in agribusiness, in making appropriate decisions related to financial and practical operations of their farms One of his greatest passions is helping others; I like helping people find solutions that meet their specific needs. Due to that motive, he came up with an idea to join his colleagues and co-founded Bright Generation Rwanda.

 

 

Angela Rosette Niwemugeni

Communication Officer

Angel Rosette is fulfilling a Business Information Technology Bachelor degree. Over Four years of Experience, maintained in a progressive career that involved working with NGOs, Gov. Offices and Companies such as Urabona Ltd, and also working as an independent consultant. Conversant with IT strategy development and Marketing in managing Information Technology systems; she conducted baseline computerized Projects using recent methodologies, wrote, implemented and coordinate quality Network project proposals and hand at time well written reports. Setting up/ configuring, coding, monitoring, and maintained systems and Servers. Being a deputy in heading a department, she had responsibilities of managing a team of staff, and has worked in different cross cultural environment and possesses extensive experience in Information Technology. She is willing to learn and apply new knowledge quickly, and works independently with less supervision. Driven by her , passion to serve her community with her skills, together her colleagues, she joined Bright New Generation Rwanda.


Alice Nyinawumuntu

Secretary and Treasurer

Alice is holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Independent Institute of Lay Adventists of Kigali, INILAK, in the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management, in Accounting Department from 2012 . She has worked as volunteer Accountant in Women association Amizero and with Urugemwe, where her responsibilities were to mobilize stakeholders, planning, implementing and making a follow up of different activities planned for changing the mindset of the stakeholders for their better future. She has a strong experience as a theatre trainer, since 2006, when she trained Peer Educations in Forum and Musical theatre, peer educational, HIV/AIDS, sexual and Reproductive Health at NDERA, GASABO District and regarding her next curriculum where she had been a theatre trainer in secondary schools in Rubavu district, 2007- 2008, about the topic SINIGURISHA, “I am not for sale”, organized by RAPP/SIDA and PSI/RWANDA. Among her responsibilities were also to coordinate three associations of PLWHA (People living with HIV Associations) associated with Anti-AIDS high-school clubs, participating in story writing on anti stigma and discrimination campaigns and acting with the students, organizing and implementing theatre competitions for 6 high schools’ Anti AIDS clubs. In 2009, she was also a Trainer in Nyarugenge district secondary schools about the topic: “Talk to me about sex.” Her passion is to fight against any sort of discrimination and helping the vulnerable communities building back their hope for a better future and prosperity.

Christian Kamanzi Rusakira

Programme Coordinator ( Conferences)

Christian Kamanzi Rusakira is pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Information and Technology at Mount Kenya university. He is skilled in Leading conferences and public debates. He has been certified by AMANI KWETU PROJECT DONE in EAC. He is an active member of PLP (Peace and Love Proclaimers) and one of the WALK TO REMEMBER organizers. He is also trained in Trauma Counseling whereby he is used to minister his age mates in healing. Christian is passionate about helping young people through empowerment and has commitment to serve his community with his skills. He has joined BGR and now leads the LTBP ( Let’s Talk and Build Program).

 

Onapa Wawah Moses

Programme Coordinator ( Community Empowerment)

Onapa Wawah Moses pursued his Grade III teacher’s Certificate in 2005 at Institute Of Teacher Education Kyambogo( ITEK) and afterwards he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in 2012 at Muteesa 1 Royal University. He is a professional teacher, mentor and a counselor in educational and career guidance, Coaching and community development and empowerment. He is experienced in working closely with vulnerable communities because He has closely worked with different orphanages and institutions within Uganda as a mentor, teacher and counselor for the less privileged and vulnerable group abandoned by their mothers and grew up on streets thus for five solid years. He has also worked with different local NGO’s Under different programmes in Uganda in community empowerment especially ‘’Hope After Rape” in Northern Uganda that helped to counsel the traumatized victims of the Lord’s Resistance Army insurgency in the year of 2006 as a mechanism of helping girls of the North attain skills for self reliance like soap making from local materials, necklaces and bracelets for side income businesses to the employed and employment opportunity to the less educated due to the insurgency. He is currently a founder member of KIRICOM KAMPALA LTD, a registered small company that is taking up and gaining momentum in training people with the artiste skills thus mainly in acting films and comedy shows in Uganda as well as trainings, mentoring and conferences in Rwanda. His passion is to serve the community by empowering the vulnerable people towards a better and sustainable livelihood. He now works in Kicukiro District, Masaka Sector in Rwanda and lives in Rubaga south constituency, Kampala District, Uganda.

 
Venuste Kamana

Deputy Legal Representative

Venuste Kamana is holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Information Technology from Mount Kenya University(MKU) from 2013 . He has worked in DOT –Rwanda (Digital Opportunity Trust) as a Training Facilitator whereby he facilitated Livelihoods, ICT , Business and Entrepreneurship Skills to local community members. He is a professional trainer and he is also skilled in leading dynamic discussions, youth leadership, project management and IT handling. He is passionate about serving his community especially empowering youth with his skills. Together with his colleagues,co-founded Bright Generation Rwanda. Theogene Ndagijimna

Programme Coordinator ( Advocacy)

NDAGIJIMANA Theogene pursued his Bachelor’s Degree in social sciences and Business studies with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) from Kigali Institute of Education (Upper second class Honors). He has one year progressive experience working for NGO’s projects and three years volunteering in an NGO caring to vulnerable groups, with outstanding managerial and communication skills. He strongly understands working with vulnerable groups helping them improve their social and economic status. He is an open minded, team player and builder, accountable, negotiator, relationship builder and He holds a sense of multi-cultural sensitivity. From 2006 to 2009 , Theogene was appointed as Director of Gafumba secondary school and from 2010 to date he is holding a position of Operations Director and Interim Director at Kigali Language Exchange. He is passionate about community services especially empowering youth in rural areas. Due to that motive, he joined BGR team whereby he is playing a big role in advocacy.
