Testimonials from previous volunteers:

"I volunteered at CAFLO for three months for the fieldwork component of my Social Work degree.  Working with CAFLO has given me an indepth insight into Community Social Work in Tanzania, in particular, the social problems that people face in urban areas.

As well as expanding my Social Work experience, I've learnt a lot about Tanzanian culture.  I've loved meeting and working with so many people here, it has been an invaluable experience.  I would highly recommend others to come to Tanzania and work with CAFLO."

- Claire, New Zealand (2013)

"I came from the USA to volunteer with CAFLO for one month. Emmanuel and Denis made my safety, level of comfort and learning objectives their priority. Over my time with CAFLO, I've gained valuable insight into the cultural mentalities and social traditions in Dar es Salaam. Through their partner network, I've learned about various opportunites that are being implemented at the grass roots level to combat poverty.

It was very reassuring knowing that the values and objectives of CAFLO are not skewed according the social traditions of the communities they serve. They are truly for the people and believe in the work they are doing here in Tanzania."

-Jamie, United States of America (2013).
