Help Children Organization - (HCO) updated its Team page.

(A)                The organization has eleven members namely:-

  1. Peter Alexander Mwita – BA in Social work and Post Graduate in Community Development
  2. Leticia. N. Majogoro – Primary school Teacher
  3. Dr. Lugiga – Bachelor in Medicine)
  4. Peter Mshighati – Bachelor in Accountancy and financial management
  5. Dr. Pety –Bachelor in Medicine
  6. Peter .T. Mungata-Dip. In Financial Management and Administration.
  7. Sostheness .C.Peter - A`Level Secondary Education.
  8.   Mr. Wilson Karuwesa - BA. in        Education
  9.  Mrs Sidna Mathias- BA. In Social Work

10. Michael Peter – Primary Education

11. Mrs. Yolanda Komba – BA in Social work; Masters in Planning for Rural

          Development.

(B)   Executives and office bearers:-

 

1)    Executive Director.

 Peter Alexander Mwita – BA in Social work and Post Graduate in Community Development

His /Her Duties:

a)    The overall co-ordinator of the programmes or projects undertaken by the organisation.

b)    He is a spokes person and the representative of the organisation.

c)    To preside overall meeting convened by the Board of members and Executive committee.

d)    He supervises fund raising programmes of the organisation.

e)    He supervises and makes follow up on all activities undertaken by the organization.

f)     He keeps the seal of the organisation.

g)    Performing any other duties as per direction of Body of Trustee/Executive committee.

2)    Programme manager.

Peter .T. Mungata-Dip. In Financial Management and Administration.

His /Her Duties:

a)    He is responsible for all correspondences and communications with individuals, companies, embassies, Governmental and Non-Governmental organizations for all matters pertaining to the organisation in consultations with the Executive Director.

b)    He keeps all documents, records and all kinds of reports.

c)    He makes all arrangements for the meetings.

d)    He is a Chief advisor on Administrative and Financial matters affecting the organisation.

e)    He is a chief project   designer and planer of the organisation.

f)     He performs any other duties as per direction of the Executive Director, and Executive committee.

3)    Project Coordinator.

Mr. Wilson Karuwesa - BA. in Education

His /Her Duties:

a)    Ensures smooth implementation of all assigned projects according to agreement with the donor/development partner and that each project is delivering the agreed outcomes.

b)   He Initiates, design and prepares project proposals for the organization.

c)    He prepares HelpChildren’s Project Work/Action Plans.

d)   He ensures an adequate filing system is maintained and that all documents are intact and properly filed in a timely fashion.

e)   He works in collaboration with HelpChildren’s Executive Committee and the PA in Project planning and budgeting.

f)    He prepares Budget Breakdown for Training Workshops, Seminars and Meetings implementing Project Programmes.

g)   Collecting, Storing and processing relevant data/information related to the projects under implementation.

h)   Preparing and submitting accurate project reports on monthly, quarterly and annual basis to the Board, Executive Committee, District Council and to the other Donors in accordance with the project format/monitoring tools.

i)     Supervision and provision of necessary guide and advice to the District/Divisional OP Information Center Coordinators and work closely with them.

j)    Monitoring project progress and impact.

k)   Working for Help Children’s with view to attain organization objectives and abide to organization directives.

l)     He is answerable and responsible to Help Children’s Executive Committee and the Board.

 

4)    Finance manager.

     Peter Mshighati – Bachelor in Accountancy and financial management

His /Her Duties:

a)    He keeps all monies of the organization

b)    Collecting all monies from various sources on behalf of the organization.

c)    Keeping all financial records on behalf of the organization.

d)    He is responsible to ensure that the accounting principles are adhered to in all transactions undertaken by the organization.

e)    Submitting of financial reports in the members` meetings and or any meeting convened for such purpose.

f)     He performs any other duties as per direction of the Executive Director, and Executive committee.

5)    Human rights officer (Lawyer).

Mrs. Yolanda Komba – BA in Social work; Masters in Planning for Rural

Development.

a)    She oversees, monitoring officer of children’s, women’s and young people’s rights and entitlements.

b)    She makes follow up on cases developed in the courts concerning children, women and young people’s abuses. eg, Rape, sexual abuse, touché ring etc.

c)    She is a law adviser of the organizational clients.

d)    She works on behalf of the clients in the court or at any judiciary body.

e)    She ensures that children, women and youths rights are not misconducted by the community.

f)     She works hand in hand with the primary, districts, Regional and High court if needed/necessary.

g)    She prepares clients` case studies/reports for the court and organizational Records.

h)   She performs any other duties as per direction of the Executive Director, and Executive committee.

6)    Probation officer (Social worker).

Mrs. Sidna Mathias- BA. In Social Work

a)    She provides probation services to children, women and young persons convicted by laws.

b)    She works together with the human rights officer as middle persons to present complaints of organizational clients to the police or court if necessary.

c)    Providing counseling to vulnerable women, children, young boys and girls who psychologically affected by individual or social problems.etc.

d)    She works very close with the clients, community and the Government bodies on behalf of the organization.

e)    She cooperates with Mitaa/Villages, wards and District leaders to solve the problem.

f)     Prepares case study reports for the court, social welfare department and for the organisation.

g)    She performs any other duties as per direction of the Executive Director, and Executive committee.

7)    Medical/Clinical/Nursing officer.

Dr. Pety –Bachelor in Medicine 

a)    She is the Coordinator of home based care and mobile clinic services to HIV/AIDS orphaned children.

b)    She provides medical services or first aid to injured children living in the streets.

c)    She prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual   data on Malaria, STDs, and HIV/AIDS cases noted from vulnerable women, children, orphans and youths.

d)    On behalf of the organisation she works together with health Centres, Dispensaries, and hospitals to provide better health services to the target group of the organisation.

e)      Shall keep all patients records on behalf of the organisation

f)       She keeps all drugs special for children and other vulnerable groups on behalf of the organisation.

g)      She performs any other duties as per direction of the Executive Director, and Executive committee.
