KIGOMA YOUTH FOUNDATION (KYF),
Is a community based organization wich is legally and officially registerd under the non governmental organization policy on civil society organization in Tanzania with the recognition No KUMC/MW/KSK/CBO/O21. in 2017
It prepares young people in Kigoma Region to be healthy, productive and engaged citizens in the community.

OUR OBJECTIVES
- Mobilizing resources to facilitate youth’s engagement in wealth creation for development by creating saving and credit groups and implementing sustainable income generating projects to nurture self-reliance.
- Supporting the struggle of youth for higher living standards, for better conditions of education, work and leisure and for development of cultural, educational and sports activities for all young people in Kigoma region.
- Promoting life skills and social accountability among youth and building the capacities of youth development relations to enhance the realization of their goals, through seminars, workshops and conferences.
- Advocating for review of conventional laws, policies and development agenda that are hindrance to youth’s participation and assisting young people to become aware of their rights and responsibilities as active citizens.
- Working diligently to educate the youth about the source, effect and prevention of drugs and drug abuse, and STDs including HIV/AIDS and provide support and counselling for those who are addicted by drugs, STDs and HIV/AIDS infected persons.
- Establishing centres to compassionate and care for orphans, young people with hardship and widows
- Establishing vocation training centres as a means of empowering youth and rising their potentials.
