Badilika Foundation updated its Projects page.

To date, the organization has been implementing the following projects:-

  1. Advocacy and Information, Education and Communication on Indoor Residual Spray (IRS) Project in Sengerema district. With that intervention, we have managed to reach 97% of the targeted households.
  2. Youth against Corruption Project
  3. Gender Responsive Awareness Raising for Sustainable Development Program
  4. Youth against HIV/AIDS Campaign project
  5. Institutional Capacity Building project
  6. Community empowerment on Elimination of Child Labour, abuse and exploitation.
  7. Rural Water supply, Sanitation and Hygiene promotion
  8. Facilitate platform for dialogue on issues around agriculture sector in Mara region. This is radio dialogue on agricultural related challenges including access to extension services and inputs, coffee, etc

PAST RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IN MALARIA INITIATIVES:
Badilika Foundation in collaboration with Tanzania Red Cross Society - Mara and Mwanza Branch from 2008 to date have been implementing Malaria intervention in the following areas: Community education, vector reduction through local clean-up campaigns, promotion and use of insecticide treated nets (ITNs) such as:-

  1. Malaria campaign on new therapy – Bisumwa Ward in Musoma district - 2009
  2. Demonstration on  Net treatment –Busawe ward – Serengeti district
  3. Badilika Foundation was sub contracted by Tanzania Red Cross Society (TRCS) to organize and supervise the Hang Up Campaign in Mara region in Butiama district held in December 2009 to early February 2010.
