PAST PROJECTS
We attained the following activities;
1. Display various youth’s economic development activities during youth’s day on 14/10/2007 at Majimaji Stadium Songea (Ruvuma Region). We were among youth groups from 19 districts invited.
2. Participate in peasant day (Nane Nane) exhibition at Morogoro on August 8, 2005
3. Implement one year project on PMTCT to 60 pregnant AIDS women victims and 25 orphans and most vulnerable children (MVC) of Makangarawe. The project was funded by TACAIDS through their agent RFA-Dar es Salaam.
4. Conduct of open pageants (matamasha) to youth groups of Makangarawe in 2007.
CURRENTLY PROJECTS.
1. Information Centre.
We run an information centre where adolescents feel comfortable discussing and accessing information on issues concerning them. This program is aiming of emancipating the youth with the independence skills which are crucial for young people especially for the girl’s ages 16 to 24 who are placed in the life centre for training in the Makangarawe Information Centre and Development. This program focuses on teaching skills necessary for self-sufficiency. The girls receive educational training which prepares them for adult life. The program also includes survival skills development with training in money management, tailoring, English courses, cooking and nutrition, personal hygiene, Drug use, HIV/AIDS, sex, gender issues, democracy and policy, civics education and consumer awareness.

2. Youth and Children.
This program is aimed of caring youth & children in the extended family with the objective of offering help and hope to their hurting hearts through counseling services. The caring staff works with children 12 to 18 ages, to heal the hurts of the past and provide hope for the future. Many of these children served have parents who love them but who simply have never really learned how to be parents. Through innovative methods of counseling and training for the entire community, the community unit is kept intact whenever possible. Also we are implementing one year project of a baseline survey focusing on gender violence to barmaids, school children (girls), food venders (mama lishe) and domestic workers (house helpers).

FUTURE PROJECTS.
1. To plan and organize a world AIDS day on December 1st, 2010 to be celebrated at streets level (ward level) and 16 day of Gender Based Violence and drugs day in 26/ June, 2010.
2. To organize a fund rising in order to open a revolving soft lean fund to HIV/AIDS victims at Temeke District. Also to help orphans and most vulnerable children so that one day they can become productive members of society.
3. To offer HBC (home-based care) counseling, social welfare and food parcel distribution. In this our aim is to achieve high quality palliative care that is both sympathetic and dignified for all patients who are unable to access alternative medical care in the local community.
4. To conduct civics education (gender group leadership) to youths and the community of Temeke Municipal.
