MWAMKO works under four selected programs which also informs its vision, mission, values and strategic objectives. All the projects are formulated to meet the requirements laid down by the programs.
Advocacy, Governance and Rights.
This Program works as a strategy to ensure that, the local and central government are truly zero tolerant towards corruption and misuse of public funds and resources to improve accountability, transparency, openness and social services delivery. It focuses in supporting the voices of the poor people; and being their voice to enable them access to equitable development.
Community Capacity Building and Empowerment.
This program works to ensure that, the local and central government establishes and implements a participatory pro-poor policies and strategies in implementing, monitoring, and evaluating of publi funds and resources to improve social services delivery.
Policy Analysis, and Social Economic Research.
This program works to ensure that, the local and central government formulates and implements participatory policies to reduce the number of people living below poverty line; and to ensure fairness in resource generation and equitable allocation of resources to favour the concerns of the poor.
Information Access and Communications.
This program works to facilitate communications and information among the partners, including the citizens, the civil societies and the media. It works to enable citizens access to useful information and help to broaden their understanding and participation in information sharing.
