The Objectives of MCDC are
1) To promote and facilitate good living standards of all Rural Communities in Kasulu and Buhigwe through facilitated socio economic development and sustainable development in socio-economic services such as health, education, and agriculture by initiating the establishment of sustained community based activities.
2) To facilitate capacity building to the rural communities through development planning, management, monitoring and evaluation for socio-economic efficiency.
3) To conduct consultancy on professional and non-professional matters particularly on research, project proposals, agricultural performance, enhancing education, business plans as well as health issues.
4) To establish sustained project for poverty alleviations interventions, environmental conservation and raise awareness on disaster preparedness education to the community and methods of combating social economic problems such as HIV/AIDS, Corruption, Drug abuse, Abuse of power, Lack of democracy and human rights etc.
5) To develop sustainable ways of helping young people who are in need such as disabled, orphans and street children in urban and rural societies.:
