HumanCare Organization was founded by Mr Anthon Louis Mwangake who is a social worker and project officer for three years now.He has an experience of implementing several projects like
1.My Right My Voice Project: This was a youth , children, gender sensitized and right based project, implemented in Primary and Secondary Schools with focus on widening spaces for children and youth especially girls to share their concerns by getting skills on how to fulfil their responsibilities and demand their rights.
2.Ending Worst Forms of Child Labour: Project funded by Terre des hommes(TdH-Netherlands) the project focused on withdrwaing children from work forms of child labour in artisanal gold mining in kahama and enrolled in primary and vocational training.EWFCL also ensured formation of Most Vulnerable Children's Commitees in villages where project is implemented.To the second side of the coin the project beneficiries are the primary care givers of former children who were working in worst form before being withdrawn, primary care givers are given proper parenting skills and entrepreurship skills with start up capital support so that they can make lives of their families no dependant on project.
3. mobile Data Collection Project: Contracted by Firelight Foundation as project manager, whereby he worked in three regions of Tanzania(Dar es salaam-OCODE, Kilimanjaro-KIWAKKUKI and Mwanza -TAHEA),Mobile data collection lasted just for three months with focus on Learning assessing to children who are supported by Firelight partners in respective areas
4.Your Rights My Responsibility Project: Funded by Firelight Foundation with focus on campaigning for child rights and ending child abuse like child labour and early marriage and pregnancies among the adolescents
5.EQUIP Project: Funded by Equip Tanzania through the Foundation for Civil Society with focus on ensuring community involvement in primary education improvement.The project aimed at making community having sense of ownership of government schools by taking part in planning for what they think is needed for improvement of primary schools in their respective schools.
