Vision Statement.

To bring tangible impacts to academic sector, democracy, gender and human rights with focus on children, youth, vulnerable and marginalized groups.

Mission Statement.

MEM Advocate for community transformation through research, publications and community dialogues based on excelling in academic with focus on equity quality education for all and supporting children, youth, marginalized and vulnerable groups to realize their rights so that they become drivers of their life by providing skills based on human rights, poverty alleviation and health education, .                                              

 OBJECTIVES

  (1) . To advocate for children, youth , marginalized and vulnerable groups’ rights.
  (2) . To train youth, marginalized and vulnerable groups entrepreneurship skills.
  (3) . To advocate and lobby for quality education .
  (4) . To promote girls education and health services.
  (5) . To promote gender balance, responsibility and equity.
  (6) . To provide democracy and Civic education to all citizens
  (7) . To provide Health education to citizens
  (8).    To provide poverty alleviation skills
  (9)     To advocate for conducive environment for education acquisition
  (10)   To advocate for gender based education

Core Values.

The core values of the MEM shall be
cooperation, honesty, volunteer,
good governance, Intergrity,Creativity and accountability .                                 

Membership, Entrance and Membership Fee.

-(1) Persons or individuals shall qualify for membership when,                    
without prejudice to creed, color, ethnicity or political                            
orientation, they accept the terms and conditions of entry                
as stipulated in this constitution.

(2) All who make all mandatory contributions which include membership fee,    annual subscription and other contributions introduced from time to time.

(3) Individuals aged 18 years and above with sound mind and character.

(4) The entrance and membership fee may change anytime when 2/3 of ordinary members at general meeting agree with the change proposed.

 

Types of Members.

 

  1. MEM shall have three types of members                                        

(1)   Ordinary membership
This type of membership is open to any person or individual who adheres to MEM objectives.

(2)   Honorary membership
This membership is conferred to people who have demonstrated outstanding contributions to the life of MEM.

(3)   Associate membership
This is conferred to any person or individual who has made material or moral support to MEM.
