Magu Comprehensive Community Empowerment Initiative (MCCEI) was officially registered on 18th May 2012.
The establishment of MCCEI was forced by the fact that majority of rural population of Tanzania are characterized by severe poverty, high levels of illiteracy, very limited access to basic social services, food insecurity, common diseases like malaria, typhoid anaemia, acute respiratory infections, diarrhoea, Lack of reproductive health skills and spread of HIV/AIDS which all combined have resulted to poverty, poor health and high mortality rates especially among children.
The MCCEI currently has conducted an organisation capacity assessment to clearly point out her both strengths and weaknesses so as to enable it strategically re-plan its work in the best way.
